Marble Beauty

After leaving a disappointing gallery opening with Eileen and unable to even try standing onto the New Museum line we happened to stumble into the Sperone West Water gallery. Highly recommend seeing the "Marble Sculpture from 350 b.c to Last Week. " show. They also have a great portraiture of both contemporary and historical artwork. Totally was memorized by the pieces and a great balance. You wouldn't even know it was a gallery from the gallery facade but you can't miss the doorman. Obviously we did not look like we belonged in the atmosphere of sophisticated rich big shots, but it was nice to pretend like we totally did. Here are shots of some of my favorite marble pieces
